These new verbose, grandiloquent and prolix lyrics are a lot funnier than the originals. For example, Cee-Lo’s “If I was richer / I’d still be with ya” becomes “If I had a higher gross annual income / we would still be in a relationship” and Taio Cruz’s “I wanna celebrate and live my life” becomes “I would like to commemorate and also experience the human condition.”
